Brother Dan ground these blades extremely thin at approximately .010" thick at the edge prior to sharpening. The thickness of 3 Post-it notes is .0125" thick meaning that three Post-it notes are 20% thicker than this edge is prior to sharpening! It's nice to know that if you ever dull it . . . You might not know it !
This approx. 8" long AEB-L stainless blade at .110" thick sports a 1 1/2 inch high saber ground bevel that is ready for anything that your kitchen can throw at it!
The Forsaken Chef 8 weighs in at an incredibly light 6 ounces adding to its nimbleness and ease of handling! The Forsaken Chef 8 is solely designed to be a slicer! It is not recommended for prying or throwing because the tip is scary thin!
This Resiprene-C Handle design is everything you could hope for in a handle where maximum comfort is desired. It is heavily rounded for comfort and extremely ergonomic! The Res-C provides a non-slip grip and is made from our softer Res-C material.
