These are ground extremely thin, down to approximately .010" thick at the edge prior to sharpening.
The thickness of 3 Post-it notes is .0125" thick, meaning that three Post-it notes are 20% thicker than this edge is prior to sharpening!
It's nice to know that if you ever dull it, there's a chance you'll never know it!
The Alpha Chef 5.25 is solely designed to be a slicer! It is not recommended for prying or throwing because the tip is scary thin!
Our NEW, Resiprene-C Handle design is everything you could hope for in a handle where maximum comfort and control is desired. It is heavily rounded for comfort and is extremely ergonomic. This Res-C handle provides a non-slip grip and is made from our softer Res-C material.
